Constitution and women's choices

In response to a recent abortion letter written by Gerry Bliss:

You state that "Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that a woman has the right to kill her unborn child under the guise of 'choice.'"

That would be because nowhere in the Constitution is the word "woman." It would appear that not only did women not have any rights when the Constitution was written, they did not even exist.
