Elmhurst Bike Ride & Safety Day event May 22

The Elmhurst Fire and Police Departments are co-sponsoring a Bike Ride & Safety Day on Sunday, May 22.

Two sessions are set from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting at Wild Meadows Trace, 511 S. York St., Elmhurst. The sessions include a three-mile bike ride along the Prairie Path, following a training session on bike safety checks, helmet fittings and rules of the road. Helmets are required.

The Bike Ride & Safety Day in Elmhurst is free, but advance registration is required at elmhurst.org/bikesafetyday.
