Aurora crash victim flown to hospital

On Friday night, Aurora firefighters had to extricate a person trapped in a vehicle after a crash around 7:10 p.m. at Butterfield Road and DuPage Parkway.

The vehicle had hit a tree. Two truck companies were required, due to the extent of the damage.

It took about 20 minutes to free the patient. The person was then flown to a trauma center.
