Glen Ellyn appoints new finance director from 30-plus candidates

Glen Ellyn has hired a new finance director.

Larry Noller, currently the finance chief for the village of La Grange Park, will take over the same position in Glen Ellyn May 31. Noller previously worked as assistant finance director in Glen Ellyn.

Village officials selected Noller from a candidate field of more than 30 applicants from eight states. The village also used an executive search firm, GovHR USA, to help fill the finance director's post.

Noller replaces Christina Coyle, who became finance director for the city of Elmhurst. He will oversee village budgeting, financial reporting, billing and customer service, capital project financing, revenue collection and staff payroll, among other roles.
