Elk Grove Village Public Works Open House

Since 1960, the American Public Works Association (APWA) has sponsored National Public Works Week. Across North America, more than 30,000 APWA members in the U.S. and Canada use this week to energize and educate the public on the importance of public works to their daily lives: planning, building, managing and operating at the heart of their local communities to improve everyday quality of life.

Help Elk Grove Village Public Works kick off the 2022 National Public Works Week by joining the Public Works Department at the first annual Open House on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free event takes place at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, located at 450 E Devon Ave., Elk Grove Village. The open house will occur rain or shine and include live demonstrations, facility tours, sweeper rides, popcorn, snow cones and more!
