Letter: Who has an extra $500 for taxes?

Warren Township High School District 121 is apparently in need of $13,250,000 for each year forever to support extracurricular activities.

If District 121 wants my vote, I need to know the current costs of the programs that are about to be eliminated and where each dollar is spent, so I can do the math to divide $13,250,000 by the number of the programs.

I emailed Mayor Tom Hood asking him to give me $500 to cover the tax increase but have not heard back. Hood endorsed the increase, apparently not knowing not everyone in Gurnee can afford it.

How about a Go Fund Me page to raise that $13,250,000?
