The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a Business After Hours at Rookies All American Pub & Grill, 1996 S. Kirk Road in Geneva and co-hosted by Fox Valley Ice Arena on April 26. Over 40 people enjoyed food, drink and networking with other chamber members.
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 21 to celebrate the newly remodeled offices of BMO Harris Bank and BMO Wealth Management located at 201 S. Grove Ave. in Barrington. Ribbon-cutting attendees included: Mary Favia, Jakub Amrogowicz, Ellaine Sambo-Reyther, Justyna Sutyneic, Risa Josias. Mirjana Marinovic, Jazmine Alexander, Jean Choi, Peter O'Connor, Eric Boutell, Zac Comella, Dan Feldstein, Mike Ariano and Natasha Razin (BMO Harris Bank and BMO Wealth Management); Suzanne Corr (Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce); Doug McAllister (Douglas Automotive, Inc.); Dennis Kelly (FGMK Insurance Agency, Inc.); Ellen Corey (Coaching by Corey LLC); Brett Koenig (Crissie Insurance Group); Scott Malouf (Summit Lending Solutions Corp.); and John Corey (Responsible Financial Guidance, A Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, LLC); James Creath (Pepper Construction Co.); and Donna Stratton (Clocktower Cupcakes LLC).
The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for BMO Harris as they celebrate their opening of their location at Market Meadows, Naper and 75th streets. The celebration was facilitated with esteemed Ambassadors and community members, as well as civic leaders Mayor Steve Chirico, State Senator Laura Ellman and Naperville City Councilman, Paul Leong. Kaylin Risvold, President and CEO of the NACC thanked Allan Noworul, BMO Branch Manager and all of the bank's dignitaries for being the chamber's oldest member.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, along with Batavia Chamber of Commerce, held a ribbon cutting for LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, part of Northwestern Medicine, 442 Williamsburg Ave. in Geneva on April 29. LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, part of Northwestern Medicine is reopening on May 2 to the public for services. They will continue to also have virtual options. Since 2020, LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, part of Northwestern Medicine has been only able to offer virtual services due to the pandemic. City of Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and City of Batavia Mayor Jeff Schielke attended, along with staff and the four original founders of LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, part of Northwestern Medicine.
