Grains mostly higher, Livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher on Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May declined 20.25 cents at $10.8125 a bushel; May corn was up 13 cents at $8.2625 a bushel; May oats rose 14 cents at $7.05 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 14 cents at $17.2775 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr. live cattle was up 1.33 cents at $1.3955 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle rose 2.70 cents at $1.5580 a pound; May lean hogs was off .70 cent at $1.0240 a pound.
