Scottie Pippen to appear at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville

Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen is coming to Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist, six-time champion and NBA Hall of Famer is set to pose for a quick photo and to sign copies of his memoir, "Unguarded" (written with Michael Arkush), at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2, at 123 W. Jefferson Ave., Naperville.

"Unguarded" delves into Pippen's difficult childhood as the youngest of 12 children in Hamburg, Arkansas. It then progresses through Pippen's professional basketball triumphs and tribulations, with plenty of personal perspectives on Chicago Bulls teammates like Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman and coach Phil Jackson.

Advance tickets are $35 and include a copy of the book. Ticket holders will receive a line number and queue up according to that order. Pippen will only sign copies of his memoir (absolutely no paraphernalia will be allowed). All applicable COVID-19-related protocols will be followed.
