Letter: No laughing matter
Now that East Dundee village trustees have voted 4-2 in favor of taxing all video streaming services, I can now bundle them in with the rest of the clueless and incompetent politicians who think passing new taxes on residences during high inflation is a good idea. Only Trustee Scott Kunze voiced his displeasure.
The most disheartening thing is when an individual was clearly heard saying during the board meeting, "I can't wait to stop voting on taxes," which was followed by scattered laughter and smiles from a majority of the trustees.
The residences of East Dundee are not laughing, nor will they be come voting time
