District 75 seeks applicants for School Board opening
The Mundelein Elementary School District 75 Board of Education is accepting resumes to fill a vacancy resulting from a resignation. The Board accepted the resignation of Lisa St. Clair on April 19. The individual selected will serve the remainder of her term which runs until April 2023.
The School Board will screen and interview applicants during the first two weeks of May and will consider appointing a new member at its May 17 meeting.
Applicants must be U.S. citizen at least 18 years old, a resident of District 75 for at least one year and a registered voter. To apply, please submit a resume and a letter of interest answering the following questions: Why do you want to be a Board member? What specific skills would you bring to the Board? What previous community involvement have you had? What do you see as the role of a Board member?
The letter of interest and resume must be addressed to D75 Board of Education at dsolis@d75.org or delivered by mail or in-person to Mundelein Elementary School District 75, 470 North Lake St., Mundelein IL 60060.
Applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. on May 1. The Board will notify the applicant of the next steps in this process. District Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
