Victim of Aurora crash identified

Aurora police have released the identity of a woman who was killed in a single-vehicle accident late Monday afternoon.

Lisa Mowry, 57, of Aurora was found unconscious by police after she crashed into a tree on the 2100 block of Walcott Drive.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities said Tuesday that Mowry likely suffered a medical emergency while driving.

The investigation is still ongoing.
