FamilyForward to host golf fundraiser June 2
The Arlington Heights-based nonprofit FamilyForward (formerly Faith Community Homes) will host a FamilyFOREward Golf Outing Thursday, June 2, at Old Orchard Country Club, 700 W. Rand Road, Mount Prospect.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to gather a foursome and register for this event. Proceeds will help low-income, working families in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
"This event promises to be a fun day on the links with friends, all to support local families and create a stronger community in the process," said Erica Chianelli, FamilyForward executive director.
The schedule for June 2 includes check-in at 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The event includes 18 holes of golf (scramble format), a hot dog lunch and a concluding program at 4 p.m. featuring prizes and a buffet dinner.
The registration fee is $550 for a foursome or $150 for a single golfer, with early bird registration by May 1. After that, prices increase by $50. Registration closes May 20.
