Earth Day celebration Saturday at Adler Arts Center in Libertyville

Earth Day at the Adler Arts Center celebration will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

The free family-friendly event is focused on environmental awareness and education. Visitors will learn about backyard hens, monarch butterflies, foraging, and history of the land and Des Plaines River.

Activities also include litter cleanup, making a recycled art project and more.
