Letter: An argument for American intervention

The valiant Ukrainian people, led by my personal hero, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, have shown the world the true meaning of national pride.

In the face of Vladimir Putin's crimes against humanity, Ukraine wages a fearless and unflinching fight for its freedom.

However, as the tide turns for fascistic Russia, the plutocratic Putin falls deeper into the dictator's dilemma. Moreover, he has nowhere to run.

There is no more profound sign of this monumental shift than Putin's decision to appoint the sadistic General Alexander Dvornikov to lead his genocidal invasion of a sovereign land. In 1999, this murderous thug took center stage during the First Chechen War.

Sixteen years later, he led the third-party Russian intervention into the Syrian civil war. No member of my Millennial generation will ever forget the sarin gas and barrel bombs raining down on innocent women and children.

These tragedies were enabled by Dvornikov, or the butcher of Syria, alongside Putin. Together, they will possess imperium over Russian military forces.

Today, using the brutal tactics implemented throughout his career, Dvornikov will conduct an all-out assault upon our Ukrainian brothers and sisters.

Just as our enemies solidify their commitment to a soulless quest for global hegemony, we must double down in defense of all that we know and love.

I implore our American leadership to send all available resources, and ground troops if necessary, to stop this totalitarian treachery in its tracks.

We must show Putin that we will fight him until the end.
