Community garage sale in Des Plaines

Bargain hunters, take note: Des Plaines will hold a communitywide garage sale April 29 to May 1.

Participation is free with registration. Residents must simply display their items neatly on their front lawns or driveways on the appropriate weekend.

The sale will run from 8 a.m. to sunset each day.
