Barrington UMC prepares special services during Holy Week and Easter

Barrington United Methodist Church is busy preparing special services for the week of April 10 and Easter:

Traditional Palm Sunday Service | April 10 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Holy Thursday Service with Communion | April 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Walk with Jesus, a Good Friday Family Event for all ages | April 15, 10:00 a.m. to noon. Register at barringtonumc.com/easter

Good Friday Tenebrae Service | April 15, 7:00 p.m.

The choir will present "Tenebrae: A Service of Darkness," accompanied by organ, string quartet and winds. The moving hour-long service will include congregational singing of classic Lenten hymns.

Easter Service | April 17, 7:30 a.m. Outdoor Worship with Communion

9:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m. Indoor Worship with the amazing Stonegate Brass. The 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. services will have Easter activities for kids age three through 5th grade. Seating is limited to 250 in each service. Register today at barringtonumc.com/easter.

Regular worship services occur in the soaring, light-filled Sanctuary and online at barringtonumc.com. Barrington UMC is located at 98 Algonquin Road. Sunday worship services are at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School is available for children age three through 5th grade.
