Letter: Veganism - not Green New Deal - is the answer

Veganism is more cost effective and rational than the exorbitantly expensive Green New Deal.

Vegans reduce toxic emissions, energy costs and global warming via abstaining from meats, poultry and fish. Not raising and killing animals for food makes terrestrial and marine ecosystems more pristine, clean and cruelty free.

Conversely, the Green New Deal is bereft of substantive merit.
