No injuries in Batavia house fire
A home in Batavia was left severely damaged in a fire Tuesday night.
At 7 p.m., Batavia firefighters responded to the 400 block of Woodland Hills Road, according to a department news release.
The residents had fled the home before calling 911, and there were no injuries, the news release said
Firefighters also rescued a pet cat from the home.
There was smoke and fire damage throughout the house, but a damage estimate was not available late Tuesday night. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
