National Indo-American Museum in Lombard extends first exhibit

The National Indo-American Museum has extended the run of its first art exhibition at the Umang and Paragi Patel Center in Lombard.

“E/Merge: Art of the Indian Diaspora” will now run through Sunday, May 15. The exhibition features works by Indian American artists of different backgrounds, genders, ethnicities and sexual orientations.

Museum hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Admission is $5, and free for kids ages 12 and under.

The former Lombard medical office-turned-museum building at 815 S. Main St. officially opened in October 2021, and is named for its primary donors. For more information, visit niam.org.
