P.E.O. chapter offers memorial scholarship

P.E.O. Chapter OB is inviting young women who are high school seniors and attend either St. Charles North, St. Charles East, Geneva, or Batavia high schools to apply for the Jan Bateman Willenborg P.E.O. Memorial Scholarship before April 1.

P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) has been celebrating "women helping women reach for the stars" for more than 150 years. Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization has helped women pursue educational goals by providing grants, scholarships, awards, and loans.

Members are passionate about helping women advance through education, while supporting and motivating them.

Jan Bateman Willenborg was a beloved, longtime St. Charles resident and former P.E O. president. This scholarship honors her memory.
