Mighty Con draws comics fans, cosplayers, artists to Wheaton

Visitors to the 2022 DuPage Comic Con didn't have to strain their eyes to find their favorite superheroes.

Captain America, Thor and Cobb Vanth were among those greeting guests at the convention, held Sunday at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton.

Comic book fans feasted their curiosity at 100 vendor booths and artist tables during the event.

They also enjoyed cash-prize cosplay contests, as well as video and tabletop gaming tournaments.

Guests included Rorrie D. Travis, who plays the Red Beast Morpher Power Ranger Devon, and director, actor, producer, photographer and author Willy Adkins, president of Breaking Fate Entertainment LLC.

"I'm looking for whatever catches my eye. I'm a big fan of anything Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It brings me back to my childhood," said Mike Aguilar of Chicago at Sunday's DuPage Comic Con presented by Mighty Con. Ryan Rayburn/for the Daily Herald
