Letter: Long Grove should have some sympathy at bridge

One of the richest suburbs of Illinois cannot afford to raise the height of clearance in that rich community on an iconic bridge to allow people to pass.

A person 36 years old was moving and needed to use that street in the afternoon ... 12:25 p.m. The driver was moving with a U-Haul Truck.

The rich Long Grove community is charging that person with not watching for signs while this person is trying to move. Just close the street or raise the bridge height. The rich of Long Grove are not the only humans living in Illinois.

The driver received a citation. Put yourself in the driver's seat as a person moving and the stress of that in a moving van. Long Grove, you should be ashamed.
