Correction: Oil Leak-Illinois story

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - In a story published March 13, 2022, about the planned cleanup of a crude oil spill in southern Illinois, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the federal Environmental Protection Agency had asked Illinois' attorney general to ensure that a pipeline operator conducts a proper cleanup of the spill. That request was made by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, not the federal EPA.
