At least two injured in Grayslake crash
At least two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Grayslake, according to the Grayslake Fire Department.
At 3:11 p.m., Grayslake fire and police arrived at Route 83 and Rowena Road near the FedEx facility to find a damaged Jeep and pickup truck.
Grayslake police said the crash occurred while one of the vehicles were attempting to turn onto Route 38 from Rowena Road.
A man and woman who were driving the pickup truck received minor injuries. Authorities said one person had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The two victims were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
According to authorities, the male driver of the Jeep was released after refusing transport to a hospital.
