Round Lake Beach crash sends one to hospital

A two-car crash Thursday afternoon in Round Lake Beach sent one driver to the hospital.
The crash occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Fairfield Road and Mayfield Drive, Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Eric Hair said. The crash involved a car and an SUV.
The accident caused the SUV to flip over. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital in serious condition, Hair said. The driver of the car declined treatment at the scene, Hair said.
