Palatine District 2 residents' meeting resumes March 16

After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Palatine Councilman Scott Lamerand is resuming twice-a-year open house meetings for residents.

The next meeting is from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at village hall, 200 E Wood St., Palatine.

Lamerand represents Palatine's District 2. Mayor Jim Schwantz and village staff also will be present.

There will be an overview of happenings and new developments in Palatine, along with a recap of how the pandemic has affected the village and prompted changes in the last two years.

Lamerand said getting feedback and insights from residents is critical to the village's success.

"The more we communicate the better we can serve the community," he said.
