Libertyville library hosts program on state's first women voters

In July 1913, Libertyville resident Clara Colby became the first woman to vote legally in the state of Illinois.

Jenny Barry, local history librarian and president of the Libertyville-Mundelein Historical Society, will discuss the forward-thinking Libertyville women who voted that day during a virtual presentation at 7 p.m. Monday, March 21.
