Grains mixed higher,Livestock lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May declined .7725 cents at $11.27 a bushel; Mar. corn was up 2 cents at $7.5425 a bushel; Mar. oats rose 7.25 cents at $6.48 a bushel; while Mar. soybeans fell .0725 cents at $17.0275 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Feb. live cattle lost 1..28 cents at $1.3727 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle was off .85 cent at $1.5302 a pound; Apr. lean hogs fell .93 cent at $1.0022 a pound.
