Batavia charity to hold prom dress giveaway Saturday

CHIP IN Batavia will hold its seventh annual Prom Dress Giveaway from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, in the old Sam's Club location, 501 N. Randall Road in Batavia.

It is free and open to any student from any school district. There are private changing areas.

It features more than 700 dresses and many are new. There also are accessories, including purses, shoes, jewelry, and new makeup.

Donations for tuxedo rentals and prom tickets for Batavia students in need are welcomed.
