GLCU to open branch in Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE - Bannockburn-based Great Lakes Credit Union said it plans to open a new branch in Libertyville. This is the credit union's seventh branch in Lake County and thirteenth branch in Illinois.

The new branch will open this spring and be located near downtown Libertyville. Jasmine Taylor-Newton was recently promoted as branch manager of the new GLCU Libertyville location.

Founded in 1938, GLCU is a nonprofit financial cooperative with more than $1 billion in assets, serving more than 80,000 members in the Chicago area.
