High court choice tainted
Ketanji Brown Jackson may turn out to be an excellent choice for the Supreme Court vacancy. Time will tell. What is appalling is the process our president employed is severely unconstitutional. If he said he was limiting his choices to white, straight males, the outcry would be immense, as it should be. Because the field of candidates was limited by race and gender, there will be no way to know if the choice of Jackson was the best choice. If she ends up with a legacy of greatness, there will never be a way to know.
