Motorola Solutions buys UK-based security and analytics company

CHICAGO - Motorola Solutions said it has acquired London-based Ava Security Limited, a global provider of cloud-native video security and analytics.

Ava Security's scalable, secure and flexible cloud solution provides businesses, institutions and other enterprises with real-time visibility and powerful analytics to optimize their operations and detect anomalies and threats. The platform offers organizations the benefit of an enterprise-grade video security solution while minimizing the physical footprint of their security infrastructure, Motorola said.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Motorola Solutions' products include mobile radio communications, video security and access control, command center software, as well as systems management and support services.
