Heritage-Crystal Clean revenue up 27%
ELGIN - Heritage-Crystal Clean Inc. said its total revenue for the fiscal year fourth quarter of 2021 increased 28.4% to $169.5 million, as compared to $132.0 million for the same quarter of 2020.
For the year, the company generated $515.3 million in revenue compared to prior year revenue of $406.0 million, an increase of $109.4 million, or 26.9%, Heritage-Crystal Clean said.
Heritage-Crystal Clean is a leading provider of manufacturing parts cleaning, hazardous and nonhazardous waste services, used oil re-refining, antifreeze recycling and field services, primarily focused on small and mid-size customers.
Net income for fiscal 2021 was $60.9 million, or $2.59 per diluted share, compared to net income of $11.9 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, for fiscal 2020.
Heritage-Crystal Clean said the increase in revenue was due to improvement in base oil pricing in its Oil business segment along with recovery from the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as continued growth in its Environmental Services segment.
