Bristol Firefighters Get Some Dive Practice at Rainbow Manor Lake
Earlier this week and after sunset, the Bristol Fire Department was at Rainbow Lake Manor combing the cold, frozen waters of the community lake for a training exercise!
The department reached out to the community in hopes of getting some practice in for their dive team. The Bristol dive team previously held practice sessions in the same lake about five or six years ago. The department says the lake is the right depth, the right location and has both thick ice & open water, which is perfect to do this type of training for its dive unit.
Rainbow Lake Manor was happy to accommodate these important members of the neighborhood and is always here to help the community. Residents were notified as to what was happening beforehand to avoid any confusion.
