Woman found dead along I-70 just east of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A woman was found dead Tuesday morning along Interstate 70 just east of Indianapolis, and Indiana State Police say they're investigating the case as a homicide.

Dai-Ghia Hogan, 21, of Indianapolis was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Her body was found in the gravel of a crossover shortly after 7 a.m., police said.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Marion County Coroner's Office, police said.

Investigators do not have a description of any suspect or suspect vehicle, and anyone traveling in that area during the early morning hours Tuesday, who may have either witnessed this incident or vehicles turning into or out of the crossover is asked to contact the Indiana State Police at (317) 899-8577.
