Local AAUW to host 'A Perfect Journey' March 3

The American Association of University Women-Batavia, Geneva & St. Charles invites the community to join in "A Perfect Journey with Julia Hsia" from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at St. Charles Library, 1 S. Sixth Ave. It will begin with networking at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program at 7 p.m.

Hsia's professional goal is to engage speaking opportunities in the field of entrepreneurialism to empower and inspire other women with insights and experiences of a female Asian American. She has an academic background of a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in Industrial Technology-Graphic Communications. She has worked as digital marketing specialist for several years. She specializes in digital advertising and marketing, social media management, public speaking and communications. In addition, she is very active in the Fox Valley Toastmasters holding positions of president and vice president of education.

The AAUW advances equality for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.
