Earthmover Credit Union offering $4,000 in college scholarships
OSWEGO - Earthmover Credit Union is now accepting applications for college scholarships totaling $4,000.
Teen Invest Program college scholarships are an opportunity for local high school students to fund their academic plans. There will be a total of four scholarship winners: first place will receive $2,000, second place will receive $1,000, and third and fourth place will earn $500 each. ECU will accept entries between Feb. 23 and April 20.
These are the requirements for entering:
• Entrants must be a graduating high school senior with a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or a 4.0 GPA on a 5.0 scale
• Entrants must also have a Panther Credit Union (PCU) or Earthmover Credit Union (ECU) account
The application has three sections:
• Filled out entry form
• Copy of transcript
• A two to three-page, typed, double-spaced essay answering the follow question:
If you were to write the story of your life until now, what would you title it and why?
All three parts of the application must be submitted by the deadline to be under consideration for a scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Entry forms can be picked up at any ECU location or online at https://www.earthmovercu.com/bank/youth/teen-investment-program. Applications can be mailed or emailed.
