Becker Logistics names former Morton Salt executive as CFO

GLENDALE HEIGHTS - Becker Logistics said Tim McKean has assumed the position of chief financial officer to lead the finance department toward its ten-year business plan to meet or exceed $1.8 billion in top line sales.

McKean reports to the Chief Executive Officer Jim Becker.

"He is an excellent match for this position and a strong asset to the Becker Logistics executive team. He has the skills, patience and acumen to assist with future acquisitions, diligence and growth of the company," Becker said in a news release.

Prior to accepting this position, McKean served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer OU Americas at Morton Salt for the last seven years. He graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with a degree from the Miller College of Business and has a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

Becker Logistics grew from a $73 million company in 2020 to $125 million is sales in 2021, it said.
