Barber shop proposed in Mundelein

Mundelein's planning and zoning commission will meet Wednesday to discuss a proposal for a barber shop at 141 N. Seymour Ave.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.

The space being eyed for the business is a vacant storefront in the Mundelein Shopping Center, not far from Just for Fun Roller Rink and other businesses.

The business plan needs village approval because the property no longer is zoned for commercial businesses.
