Victim of Park City shooting identified

Authorities have identified the woman who was fatally shot at her apartment complex Tuesday in Park City.

Tashia Price, 19, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, the Lake County coroner's office said in a news release Wednesday.

About 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Park City police responded to Price's apartment complex on the 700 block of Sharon Avenue. Paramedics took Price to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where she was pronounced dead.

Park City police have requested the help of the Lake County Major Crime Task Force in their investigation.
