Des Plaines Fire Department is hiring

The Des Plaines Fire Department is looking to hire 10 firefighter/paramedics this spring.

Minimum requirements include U.S. residency, a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Illinois driver's license or the ability to obtain one. Eligibility requirements are available at iosolutions.com.

The starting salary will be $76,254.

The application deadline is 4 p.m. March 17. A written test is scheduled for April 9.
