When deficits matter

Your contributor of Feb. 14 stated that Democrats imply deficits don't matter. However, in 2002 it was Dick Cheney who said that "Reagan proved deficits don't matter." Easy rule: When a Democrat is in the White House, deficits are bad, when it's a Republican, it doesn't matter. Basic economics.
