Not loving holiday idea

You have to be kidding your entire readership. Just what the state of Illinois needs, another holiday. Let's see, teachers don't teach, government employees get another paid day off, kids get no instruction and their parents have to find additional funds for child care. What could possibly be wrong with this? I'm sure you can find some "academic" who will explain how this will reduce inflation, increase the GPD and instill a better work ethic in the children of this generation. Just let us all know how this works out.
