Geneva council OKs 2022-23 budget
Geneva City Council members have unanimously approved a $112.7 million budget for the fiscal year that begins May 1.
The spending plan includes money for hiring an additional firefighter and an assistant city planner, potential funding for the Geneva History Center, and research opportunities to replace city gasoline-burning vehicles with electric models. It anticipates keeping the rates electric and water/sewage customers pay the same.
