Lake Zurich seeking community member to serve on fire/rescue pension board

Lake Zurich is seeking a community member to serve on the village's fire/rescue pension board, which provides guidance and direction to the pension process while maintaining the integrity of the pension fund.

The ideal candidate is creative and collaborative, sees the big picture and has a high sense of ethics and integrity, according to a village announcement of the open board seat. Desired qualifications include a passion for the Lake Zurich community, strong financial acuity, understanding and respect for public service pensions, and knowledge of investments and regulations.
