Art and Market Aurora opens spring markets Feb. 12

Art & Market Aurora will be back at Society 57 for six dates starting Saturday, Feb. 12. The Aurora Downtown group's indoor market features several local vendors at the event space and coffeehouse located at 100 S. River St.

The market will feature both food and artisan vendors on second and fourth Saturdays through the end of April from 9 a.m. to noon. The market is free to enter.

Art and Market Aurora will feature chocolate, candles, flowers, cookies, jewelry, baked goods, body oils, and more. Each market will feature about 15 vendors.

In total, the spring markets will offer a curated selection of more than 40 local vendors.

Visiting vendors include Biscocho's, Bhoomi Chai, Ursula Naturals, Crystal Ship Jewelry, Lang's Cookies, Nide Jardin, and several local artisans.

A nonprofit organization joins the lineup at each market. Culture Stock will host a storytime at 10 a.m. on Feb. 12.

Aurora Downtown will sell downtown merchandise including postcards and T-shirts at the welcome table.

Society 57 will feature Modest Coffee, Katic Breads, and their full menu inside the coffee shop.
