Long Grove Cocoa Crawl hits the sweet spot

Although temperatures remained chilly Saturday, sunny skies and the promise of sweet treats drew visitors to Long Grove's annual Cocoa Crawl.

Participants could stroll through the historic downtown while sipping complimentary samples of hot chocolate, enjoy special chocolate treats at participating businesses, and ride on a horse-drawn carriage.

Those who spent $100 at a participating store or restaurant could receive an official Cocoa Crawl mug from the Long Grove Visitors Center.
