March Tapness Taking Center Court at Buffalo Creek Brewing

Buffalo Creek Brewing (BCB) in historic downtown Long Grove is putting its own spin on March Madness this year. Throughout the month, BCB will host the First Annual March TAPness Tournament with weekly beer offerings taking center court in the taproom:

Monday: $1 off pints

Tuesday: Buy a four pack, get a discount on a 2nd four pack

Wednesday: Trivia night with prizes

Thursday: Buy a flight, get a 2nd flight for $2 off

Friday: 50%-off on growlers and 50%-off for teachers (with ID)

Saturday: Double Pint of Music days, a show in the afternoon and a show at night

Sunday: Family Fun Day, gaming outside in the Alpine Biergarten (outside) and in the Rustic Lounge (2nd floor)

The destination brewery known for its handcrafted German-style beer and lively atmosphere is, as owner/brewmaster Mike Marr says, "not only a place that's centered around the art of brewing, but a shared space that connects people and friends."

What makes the brewery a destination? It's not in a warehouse or an old rundown building, but instead settled in a transformed art studio on two acres of wooded land in the middle of historic downtown Long Grove. The state-of-the-art brewing facility features Bavarian-style beer and themed taproom, private event room, brew masters lounge, biergarten patio, and sprawling, scenic lawns with a concert stage, picnic tables, and fire pits.
