Paylocity revenue climbs 34% in quarter
SCHAUMBURG - Paylocity Holding Corp., a provider of cloud-based human resources and payroll software solutions, said its revenue grew to $196 million in its fiscal year second quarter, up 34% over the same period a year ago.
Net income was $9.9 million, or 17 cents per share, for the three months ended Dec. 31, the company said. Net income was $9.6 million in the second quarter the prior fiscal year.
"Our differentiated value proposition of providing the most modern software in the industry, coupled with strong sales execution, resulted in our second consecutive quarter of 34% revenue growth," said Steve Beauchamp, chief executive officer of Paylocity. "In January we also completed the acquisition of Cloudsnap, a low-code integration automation platform that enables the development and deployment of (application programming interface) integrations."
